Get the My Alliance WiFi App
The My Alliance WiFi App is FREE for Whole Home WiFi customers.
If you’re using a router from Alliance, download the app to start managing your WiFi network. Unfortunately, customers who purchased their own routers won’t have access to the My Alliance WiFi App. With the app, you can:
- Create profiles for each family member and control WiFi access to their devices.
- Create a guest network for visitors to use so you don’t have to give them your primary WiFi password.
- Reset your SSID and password whenever you want.
- View all of the devices connected to your network.

Download the App
STEP 1: PLUG IN YOUR ROUTER
Make sure your Alliance router is plugged in. Your router needs to be plugged in at least 10 minutes before continuing to the next step.
STEP 2: DOWNLOAD THE APP
The My Alliance WiFi app is available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once you’ve found it, install it on your mobile device.
STEP 3: GET STARTED
Open the app and select “Let’s Get Started.”
STEP 4: SIGN UP
Select “Sign Up” at the bottom of the screen.
STEP 5: ENTER YOUR INFORMATION
Enter your personal information. The password you enter here will be the same password used to access the app. Once you’re done filling in your information, select “Sign Up.”
STEP 6: SCAN ROUTER QR CODE
After signing up, you’ll be prompted to scan the QR code on your router. Point your camera at the QR code found on the bottom of your router. If your router is attached to a stand, you will need to remove the stand to access the QR code.
STEP 7: SETTINGS
Once a “Device Details” box pops up, press “I don’t have a mesh (SAT).” Press this even if you have a mesh unit installed.
STEP 8: ALL DONE!
