Do-It-All Superintendent

Tim Rhead is the “do-it-all” superintendent of Alcester-Hudson School. He mows the schoolyard, waters the grass, and drives the school bus, as needed. He also writes a column in the local newspaper, celebrating and recognizing his students and teachers.

Making a Difference

Keep the Change is an Alliance program that collects voluntary contributions from thousands (92%) of participating cooperative members by rounding their monthly bills up to the next dollar. The funds are then given to a local community, school, or non-profit organization.

Other Annual Traditions

Every year, the Alliance team dedicates time to community service initiatives. Our annual traditions include volunteering at the Banquet, a meal ministry in Sioux Falls, purchasing holiday gifts for local families in need through Sharing Christmas, and doing yard work for adults 60+ and adults with disabilities in the Sioux Falls, Brandon, Harrisburg, and Tea communities every fall.
