You won’t lose any programming because of this change. Plus, removing the duplicate channels won’t impact your series recordings. For example, if you set up a series recording for Yellowstone on Paramount Network’s channel 46, we’ll automatically transition your recording settings to Paramount Network on channel 346.

Our board of directors and management decided last month to forgo a price increase this summer. Instead, we’re focusing heavily on increasing operational efficiencies. Removing duplicate channels will help us responsibly manage the servers that store your Cloud DVR recordings because we’ll no longer have duplicate copies of the same program. Purchasing additional servers is expensive and increases costs for our customers.

Additionally, your channel lineup will align with our new AllStream channel lineup. Alliance began offering our AllStream TV service about one year ago, and it allows you to watch your TV service on mobile, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV devices. AllStream is a great alternative to cable TV set-top boxes/DVRs because you can watch five streams simultaneously for only $12/month.
