Area residents and business owners are invited to an informal fiber internet discussion on Tuesday, February 17, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. to learn more about the possibility of bringing fiber-optic internet and phone service to the Luverne community.
The event will be held at the Trailhead facility (the former Casey’s on Main Street) and is designed as a come-and-go gathering, allowing attendees to stop by at any time during the morning. The format will be relaxed and conversational, with opportunities for one-on-one discussions, questions and answers, and sharing general information about fiber internet and its potential impact on Luverne.
Light refreshments and cookies will be available.
“This is an informal, educational opportunity for residents and business owners to learn more, ask questions, and share feedback,” organizers said. “No presentations, no pressure — just conversation.”
The event is open to all city residents and business owners. Stop by whether they are curious or actively interested in improved broadband access for the community.
