Timberwolves coverage on Alliance Cable TV

This season, Fox Sports North decided to expand Minnesota Timberwolves basketball coverage. To pay for this expansion, they are charging cable TV and satellite providers additional fees to carry the extra games. Even though Alliance has chosen not to pay for the expanded coverage, Timberwolves’ fans will still be able to watch 50 of the 75 games scheduled to appear on Fox Sports North.

Belkin resolves their router issue

According to Belkin’s website, the internet connectivity issue is now resolved. Here are Belkin’s recommendations if your service has not yet been restored: Please unplug your router and plug it back in after waiting 1 minute. Wait 5 more minutes and the router should reconnect. If you have any further issues, please contact Belkin’s support at (800) 223-5546.

When the telephone doesn’t work

In 21st century America, we have many ways to communicate: landline telephone, cell phone, email, text, Facebook, Skype, Twitter and more. With all of this technology, making a long distance telephone call should be a “given.” Unfortunately, that is not the case in much of rural America, including South Dakota. The reliability of long distance calling has slipped to something that might be expected in a developing country.
