Jay Rozeboom Complex receives Keep the Change grant

The West Lyon School District received a $2,500 Keep the Change grant to help make improvements to the Jay Rozeboom Complex. The total project, which is estimated to cost $495,000, will include new stadium seating, concrete, a press box and a building for concessions, restrooms and storage.

Construction of Alliance Communications’ fiber-optic network in rural Rock County began in April and is expected to take six months, depending on weather conditions. Crews will begin in the Jasper and Beaver Creek areas and will expand to the rest of the county throughout 2016. The total project will cover 555 miles.

Following network construction, rural Rock County residents will have access to cutting-edge technology that isn’t even available in some of America’s largest cities.
