Alliance is upgrading software in our cable TV DVRs and set-top boxes starting late tonight into early Tuesday morning.
As a result, you might experience a minimal disruption to your cable TV. If your services don’t automatically resume, you will need to unplug your set-top boxes and DVRs from the electrical outlet and plug them back in.
Your onscreen guide will have a more modern appearance following the upgrade, and the new software will allow us to offer additional advanced features in the future.
We know it’s never a good time to disrupt services. We hope to minimize the inconvenience by performing this upgrade during the early morning hours when our network usage is the lowest.
